Indirectly yes: The snoring isn't necessarily a sign of a heart problem, because lots of people who snore have good hearts. But it is true that people who snore robustly often have a conditon called sleep apnea which can damage the heart. If you snore loudly, talk to your md about a sleep study, or possibly your dentist about an oral appliance to help.

Not that easy: Those who snore loudly are at risk for obstructive sleep apnea(osa). Those with moderate to severe osa are at risk for cardiopulmanary disease over a long period of time if the osa is left untreated. Thus they should be screened for osa.
