ABSOLUTE Connection: Oxygen deprivation caused by sleep apnea is a major contributor to high blood pressure , stroke and heart disease. In addition to the deterimental effects on the quality of life (fatigue), the sufferer can affect the lives of others--mildly by second-hand snoring and majorly by falling asleep while driving a car/truck/train/bus or flying a plane--all of these have happened! get a diagnosis asap.

Sleep apnea: Snoring can be a sign of obstructive sleep apnea. Osa means that the body/brain is being deprived of oxygen for at least 10 seconds at a time. This lack of oxygen is connected to stroke, heart disease and high blood pressure.
