How can a stuffy nose be treated in an infant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nasal saline: Liberal use of nasal saline wash or spray can help an infant thin out their nasal secretions & increase the effective size of their airway. Suction may or may not retrieve the excess & it's ok if it drains into the stomach. It can be used as often as needed. Also make an attempt to remove any aggravating odors or fumes from babies space. Smoke or perfumes can be hard on baby.
