Catscratch disease?: Single or few, large, mildly painful lymphnode(s) is the most common presentation after the initial several small papules(zit-like) at the site-of-infection/innoculation, usually 1-3 wks later. Most of the cases resolve on their own without treatment in 2-12 month, but some have fever/fatigue, headache, anorexia, joint pain, and other rare/severe symptoms. Consult to make sure this is catscratch.

Watch and wait: Blood test may or may not resolve the issue. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
