What is the general long term prognosis for pure autonomc failure (dysautonomia)?

Guarded: The most difficult problem will be orthostatic hypotension whereby blood pressure is not safely maintained with rapid positional changes. Loss of sphincter control in severe cases may lead to health issues in addition to social inconvenience.

Slow progression: Paf carries a relatively good prognosis for function and survival. It has a better prognosis than multiple system atrophy and patients generally do not show diminished capacity to perform activities of daily living up to a late stage.
