A member asked:

Cbc results: low lymphocytes (15.7), high granulocytes 79.2, gr# 8.3, mchc low (32.4), mcv normal, rdw high (14.3), low mpv (7.7). is this concerning?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not yet: Percentages of lymphocytes and granulocytes are meaningless apart from the absolute values. My RDW runs about like yours when i donate blood, i never understood the need to measure platelet volume routinely... If your physician isn't worried, this pathologist ("look at the person, not the labs") isn't either.
