Sevreral things: It could be a normal anatomic structure that you just never noticed before. It could also be a spot that was traumatized or abraided by some food (taco chip?), or could be a sore. If it persists, or if you are concerned, make an appointment with your dentist. He/she will know what is normal, and can advise you.

See your dentist: It could be many different things..Most likely nothing to worry about, but definitely see your dentist asap for an accurate diagnosis. As with most things, catching it early is very important. Don't assume it will disappear on it's own.

Roof of mouth or ?: Is it on the roof of your mouth or under you tongue? Either way it could be nothing or something serious. The best thing would be to have your dentist check it out.
