I had a root canal today and my mouth was open for quite a while. i had a sore throat when i got home and thought nothing of it until i saw that i have a white spot on my uvula (also red and swollen) that looks like a balloon. what could it be?

Infection present, ask dentist to be placed on antibiotics. Rinse with any antibacterial solution while awaiting for antibiotics.
