No: There is no evidence that Aspirin lowers cholesterol. There is some evidence that it reduces platelet activity and clot formation, but that alone is not enough to lower chokesterol.

Not intended to: Aspirin, in the context of heart disease, is meant to weaken the clotting ability of platelets. It is not meant to lower cholesterol and it does not. It is important in the care of a person with heart disease, but only a small part.
