See the dentist: If it has been over a week and still swollen return to the dentist for possibly antibiotics. In the meantime rinse ( with your choice) and ice packs off and on.

Hard to say: Hard to say without more information. How long ago was it pulled? Does it look obviously swollen on the outside of your face? Some swelling and pain for the first few days after removal is normal. If it persists, be sure to call your dentist.

Tooth Pain: Any swelling should be discussed with the doc that pulled the tooth. Best to call your doc and talk about it.
