May be psoriasis.: The london criteria for psoriasis allow for diagnosis if five of ten nails of the hand have prototypic findings. Horizontal ridging is one, as are "pits." however, some people with psoriasis have small-blister-like elevations. See if family members have psoriasis!

Horizontal nail ridg: Horizontal nail ridges (or Beau’s lines)run across the nail & might be signs of conditions like diabetes, thyroid disease, kidney disease. They may occur in people who had syphilis or muscles or who had chemotherapy. These should be examined by a medical provider.
