Not long: A diagnostic mammo (in theory) is seen by the radiologist while the patient is still at the office in case there are additional views to do. Shouldn't take too long to get the report.

Mammo results: The diagnostic mammogram is evaluated by the radiologist while you are there, so in most cases results should be available the same day.

Varies by institutio: Different centers have different turn-around. Many centers for breast excellence have radiologists who immediately read your mammogram while you are still there. Some places call you next day. Yet others may take days to get final report and send you a letter in mail, sometimes up to a week later. Ask for specifics wherever you are actually having your mammogram done.
