I wanted to know when you get a mammogram, do you get the results right away?

Depends - ask clinic: Each breast imaging center, clinic or hospital is different. Some try to provide immediate results, or offer results if the patient is willing to wait for 30 or 60 minutes while the radiologist (specially trained physician - usually 6 years after medical school) interprets the mammogram. Other locations provide results within a day or two, but some places are slow and results take a week or more.

It depends: It depends on the facility, some may offer same day results. Call the facility and check their policy. Otherwise the results will probably be ready in a day or two.
