Ignorant: Dnr is your wish not to have CPR done because of a terminal illness that will eventually lead to death no matter what. You don't want CRP because of the fear of broken ribs. That's totally different thing. CPR may lead to broken ribs, but that is not the reason to decide against it and label yourself as dnr.

Likely legal issue: If you have been judged incompetent by a court or signed over your power of medical attorney to your daughter she gets to make that decision. If not and you do not want that designation you simply tell the staff what you want. Once you sign away your privileges it is a legal journey to get them back.
