Afrin (oxymetazoline) in pregnancy: Afrin (oxymetazoline) is used as a decongestant. It is in category c where animal studies show adverse effects but no controlled human studies or no animal or human studies; weigh possible fetal risk versus maternal benefit. Don not use afrin if you are pregnant without first talking to your doctor.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
