Stimulation: Exercise causes an increase in the metabolic rate that remains enhanced for hours after the exercise ended. Exercise also causes release of endorphins which are substances that increase a feeling of well being.

Endorphins: Your body produces specific chemicals when you excercise. A group of these are called endorphins and can improve mood. In addition you then sleep better and have better appetite. Better body condition improves self esteem. However do not overdo excercise. Physical and mental exhaustion can make you worse.
