If indicated: It is not that doctors would not prescribe certain medication, it is that we are trained to follow certain guidelines to offer you the most appropriate choice of medicine keeping in mind indication, dosage, side effects and sometimes even cost. Also, we may not be comfortable with certain medications and have a tendency to use medications we are very familiar with. Ask your doctor about ovide.
