TMJDS is : The abbreviation for temporomandibular joing dysfuntion syndrome. The TMJ is the joint of the jaw. It has a fixed part - the skull and a movable part - the lower jaw. There is a cartilage disc between them. If the disc becomes displaced - there can be popping - which will lead to pain and problems if not treated. Find a specialist in TMJ treatment.
