Many possible causes: The sciatic nerve begins in the lumbar spine and after passing behind the pelvic bone courses all the way down to the great toe. At any point along its track. Ii it is irritated. It can give you symptoms. It sometimes takes different tests and different specialist to isolate the cause. It may be irritated by bone , muscle, disk, or other structures.
