Hopefully: Taking the full course of antibiotics is very important. It usually takes about 2 days of taking antibiotics before it can reach a therapeutic level and begin to see improvement. Do not miss out on rest and fluids. Try to eat healthy and avoid alcohol and smoking (if you do). If you do not improve, call your doctor for a recheck, possible change of meds, getting x-rays, and maybe more steroids.
