Eczema: Your daughter suffers from atopic dermatitis or eczema. Cotton clothing is best ; avoid wool & synthetic fibers. Maintaining skin moisture is prime treatment. She can have quick daily baths and thick moisturizers applied to her skin & again at night. Give Hydroxyzine for itching. Steroid ointments and oral antibiotics maybe needed sometimes. Ointments & creams are better than lotions for the skin.
