Probably not unless: It is the first UTI you've ever had; however, the usually recommended duration of treatment is 7 days. (cipro (ciprofloxacin) 250 mg every 12 hours for 3 days is used for uncomplicated uti's). Check with prescriber to make certain the dose is what was intended, or ask pharmacist. If this is not first uti, a longer course of treatment is certainly indicated.
