I have completed my treatment for uti (nitrofurantoin) and i have the feeling of frequent urination and a slight ache in lower left back... is it possible my infection reached my kidneys? i have no fever or chills?

URI now flank pain: Yes usually will have fever and or tenderness when someone pounds over back over kidneys. It is also possible that the bug you had was not sensitive to nitrofurantoin. Discuss with your team.

Back pain for several days, was on Nitrofurantoin mono. Couldn't finish the last pill. Went back for uti and was prescribed Cephalexin liquid medicine. Just took first dose a few hours ago. Now have a low grade fever and nausea bad. Kidney infection?
How do you know if a lower back ache is muscular skeletal or a kidney infection ? No fever or UTI symptoms.
Uti Macrobid 10 days. No help. Now kidney infection 500 mg cipro (ciprofloxacin) 2xday. Been 4 days still symptomatic. 3 days left on meds. Dr didn't culture urine.
