Not first line: Excellent for chlamydia uti. First line antibiotics for utis are: bacrtim/septra (trimethoprim-sulfa), macrodantin, cipro, (ciprofloxacin) Augmentin or amoxicillin. Azithromycin is good for the unusual Ampicillin resistant gram positive uti.
