Not much: Scar tissue appeared there as a result of surgery or a previous infection.

A Finding on exam: This means that scars on the ovaries were found during a laparoscopic, surgical, ultrasonic or other diagnostic evaluation. They need to be taken in context of additional findings and complaints. For example it may be one cause of infertility or abdominal pain. The causes are multiple. Treatment will vary depending on the cause and goals.
