Scar is old: You had a diagnostic laparoscopy for pain on june 7 2013. The doctor found scar tissue on the ovaries but did not remove the scar tissue because it would cause more damage to the ovaries. The scar tissue could be from previous infections or inflammation. The laparoscopy also allowed your doctor to look for infection or inflammation from the bowel.
