Doc needs to examine: Many skin conditions are difficult to diagnose without being seen. Some preventive measures: take warm showers (hot ones strip natural oils; baths do likewise); moisturize immediately after shower; if in sun or wind, moisturize & use sunblock; avoid strong soaps/body washes.
