I had a seizure in my sleep 14 years ago i just had a ct scan that was fine my dr said there is no need for an eeg is ct good enough or no?

Probably: One seizure in 30 years with no central nervous system lesion to account for it (ct normal) and no progression (no further seizures - free of them for 14 years), leaves little reason for concern or to justify the eeg. This is if you are on no anticonvulsants. And assuming you do not have ongoing neurologic symptoms like difficult to treat headaches, perceptual changes, muscle weakness, lapses, etc.
