No: Cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. Reconstructive surgery maybe covered by some insurance if medical necessity requirements are attained. Cosmetic surgery is usually completed to address a cosmetic defect in a normal healthy person. Cosmetic surgery is elective and very effective for realistic patients...But not covered by medical insurance.

It depends: Some procedures that are medically necessary, such as a breast reduction for back and neck pain, but which can also improve the appearance of your breasts, are often covered by insurance. Eyelid surgery that removes excess skin that causes visual obstruction can also provide cosmetic enhancement to your eyelids, and are often covered by insurance.
