No : Allergies are not autoimmune disorder. Allergy is the overproduction of ige, the allergy antibody, to various allergens in the environment. Autoimmune disease is different antibodies to "self" antigens.

Allergies: Allergy is a form of an immune disorder. It is not an autoimmune disorder. . It is a form of hypersensitivity to common harmless allergens. It is mediated by ige which upon exposure to allergen activates basophils and mast cells to release inflammatory mediators such as histamine, leucotrienes and certain interleukins . These produce allergy symptoms .Commomn allergies are hives, hay fever asthm.
