Multi-Modal approach: Here are many non surgical options of things to try to reduce pain or improve function before moving on to surgery. -ice -nsaids -nutritional supplements that reduce inflammation -good hydration -reducing caffeine -knee braces -knee compression sleeves -physical therapy & exercise -cortisone injections -lubricant injections (hylauronic acid) -avoiding lots of stairs or ladders -accupuncture.
