Not likely BUT: It could if in your history you had a reaction that caused you to be hospitalized? Either way call your providers office and inform them that you are allergic and they can give you an alternative. Don't take it if you are not sure. Talk to your doc first.

Medical Records: It is important to speak to your physician about your history of penicillin allergy. If it is an allergic reaction, then your medical records should contain an alert. I would also advise your pharmacist, so that they may also list the allergic reaction in your records.
