Big picture: This is okay for a big man, and if you do resistance training, your creatinine will increase above "normal" and that's fine. When i was lifting daily, mine stayed at 1.6, and elite bodybuilders often have 2.0 or thereabouts. Lab tests provide numbers that must be interpreted in light of real people. Truth be told, there are more athletes than kidney patients nowadays, and that's a good thing.
