Yes: You could have metabolic syndrome (sugar issues, high blood pressure, cholesterol problem, big waist). Another "syndrome" that can cause this is cushing's syndrome.

Metabolic Syndrome: The condition you're asking is called metablolic syndrome. Other names include dysmetabolic syndrome or syndrome x. In females pcos or polycystic ovarian syndrome is also the same. Weight loss and abdominal fat loss can greatly improve and reverse it.
