Yes and no: Causality is hard to prove in medicine. Multiple ct exposure - especially in the young has been associated with increase risk of certain cancer but not all kids who had cts will have cancer. Thyroid scan and ultrasound have not been specifically implicated as contributors to the process of cancer development.

Probably: If you get many ct scans & thyroid scans resulting in a very large radiation exposure, then it is possible that they could cause cancer 10 to 20 yrs later. Scientific proof isn't settled, since our data linking radiation exposure with cancer comes primarily from the atomic bomb survivors in japan, where a huge radiation dose was delivered at a very fast rate. Medical scans are much different.
