Breast prosthesis: There are several types made of different materials. Yours should have come with an instruction manual. If not, call the prosthetics shop and get one or get specific instructions for your model.

Breast implant care: Your plastic surgeon will tell you how long after surgery you can begin to shower. Also, depending on the implant, you may be instructed in daily massage to help aboid contracture of the capsule that will form around your implant.
