Depends on how many!: Many diseases are called connective tissue disease, but if you them autimmune diseases, you would include thyroiditis, which causes hypothyroidism.
The 10% of the population would have one. But if you define connective disease as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, mctd, scleroderma, and sjogren's syndrome, then slightly less than 2%.
