Not unusual: Bloody mucus is not uncommon with sinusitis. You may also have a bleeding vessel on the front part of the nasal septum from too much dry air indoors in winter. A barrier such as vaseline can be applied to the front of the septum to help prevent that.

Not uncommmon: Sinusitis can lead to inflammation of the nasal lining which will cause the membranes of your sinuses to bleed more than normal. So yes it can. During surgery patients with more severe cases also loose a bit more blood than those who have more moderate disease. But you should see your local ENT to ensure there is no other pathology (ie. benign tumor)
