A member asked:

What's the difference between a hamstring strain and fatigued muscles?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Strain is an injury: Muscle fatigue occurs with working out. A strain is an injury to the muscle when the fibers stretch beyond their physiologic limits. Generally, muscle strains heal in a few weeks, and physical therapy can hasten healing.
