No.: Gangrene simply means dead tissue. The condition itself has many causes, some caused by infectious disease agents (bacteria, for example) might be contagious as diseases, but gangrene itself is not.

No: It is a result of poor perfusion.

The cause may be: If gangrene is the result of an infection, then the infection can be transferred. If will not likely lead to gangrene in the recipient however.
