Usually yes: Exposure to maternal hormones during pregnancy can lead to breast gland enlargement resulting in a moveable ball like structure in newborns (both males and females). In female newborns they can experience white vaginal discharge and even some spotting. Your pediatrician should be able to examine during newborn checkup.
