Better safe: The fact that it changed size from bigger to smaller makes me immediately think of a non cancerous process going on, however, it is better safe than sorry. I would recommend evaluation by a health practitioner. Depending on the history and exam they might recommend mammogram, ultrasound, MRI, or biopsy
