A member asked:

Do alopecia affect all the hair on a human body?

Usually not: Typically, alopecia refers to the loss of hair from your head. There is one form of alopecia where a person has no hair at all (not venen eyebrows!). This tends to be very rare.

It can: It is uncommon but hair from the whole body may be lost.
