2-3 months after a severe sickness a person may experience hair loss and it may happen with all body hair but scalp hair is easily noted and affected the most. Some endocrinology problem may cause hair loss as well such as thyroid disease. If those problems aren't the case, you likely suffer from alopecia totalist / universalis. You should see a dermatologist for a correct diagnosis and treatment.
