At 16 i was given phenabarbital for sleeping and it have me a seizure is this possible and it showed on eeg but they say pheno can spike eeg ?

Complex case: I suspect you were misdiagnosed. An eeg can show an abnormality but not define epilepsy. Migraine, medication effects, sleep deprivation can all affect the eeg. Medication for the eeg was probably not appropriate.
