See below: A routine eeg can be normal and someone still can have seizures. Sleep paralysis won't show on an eeg. If you are having seizures, please consult your neurologist to help manage them. Also, if you are experiencing sleep paralysis often ; have excessive daytime sleepiness, it may be advisable to see a sleep medicine specialist to evaluate you (esp. For sleep apnea and narcolepsy).
