Involuntary smoking: You take in nicotine and other toxic chemicals just like smokers do but are exposed to higher the level of these harmful chemicals in your body. This is why 2nd hand smoke is called involuntary smoking! it has higher concentrations of cancer-causing agents (carcinogens) than the mainstream smoke. It also contains smaller particles which make their way into the body’s cells more easily.
