I know second hand weed is bad but how long after smoking is contaminated for a newborn baby ? is this classed as second hand smoke if teeth cleaned?

Yes: There are a variety of dangerous off gasses/debris with either product. Either will risk increasing risk of cot death and respiratory disease in an exposed infant. Heavier exposures produce proportionally more risk. Teeth cleaning has nothing to do with the inhaled toxins.
