I'm getting surgery on my lower back.one of my spinal discs is trapping a nerve. what should i expect?

Hopefully relief: If your leg pain is the main problem and you have failed nonop care and are not a smoker, your success rate should be at least 90%. Postop rehab in terms of guided exercise and back specific education is important to minimize risk of recurrence which is about 5% and further development of back pain in the 10% range. This is assuming you are having a disc surgery without any fusion
