A few things.: Unfortunately, the sensation of incomplete emptying does not readily point to its cause. You could be retaining urine, as you sense, either due to obstruction of the bladder outlet or inability of the bladder to squeeze. However, you could have an overactive, irritated, or infected bladder, which would give you the sensation of needing to void, but with minimal urine. An evaluation should help you.
